Gene Autry and Loretta Young enjoy the moment on August 10, 1988, as they are honored at the Jewel Gala V with Lifetime Awards for their work within the arts as well as their work for the community. The event was part of a Star-studded, heavily bejeweled benefit for the USC Fine Arts Department and featured a fashion show called “Diamonds, The Crowning Glory,” which featured an impressive array of jewelry from the industry leaders.
