TWA Flight 800 Wreckage
CAL2001071601 - 16 JULY 2001 - CALVERTON, NEW YORK, USA: The partially re-assembled wreckage of TWA flight 800, a Boeing 747, stands in a National Transportation Safety Board hanger in Calverton New York, July 16, 2001, on the eve of the five year anniversary of the crash. 230 people died when the plane crashed in waters just south of Long Island New York on July 17, 1996. Investigators have determined that the crash was caused by a fire in the 747's center fuel tank. The wreckage will be dismantled and then moved over the next two years to George Washington University in Virginia where the NTSB has an accident investigation school. rlw/REUTERS/Mike Segar UPI
