Two U.S. Navy vessels collide in the Persian Gulf
The nuclear-powered USS Hartford submarine is seen in the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland on March 25, 1999. The vessel collided with a transport dock ship, the USS New Orleans, in the Persian Gulf in the narrow Strait of Hormuz on March 20 ,2009.
