St. Louis Childrens Hospital set up tents in parking lot for overflow of patients

As traffic makes its way through the parking garage of St. Louis Childrens Hospital Dr. Alexis Elward, Medical Director Infection Control (R) and Linda Robert, Manager, emergency services, talk about the new emergency unit overflow tents that have been erected to help accommodate more Emergency Department patients in St. Louis on October 1, 2009. Respiratory illness including asthma and influenza are currently causing Emergency Department visits to increase by about 30 percent.
