New Charges Announced for All Four Fired Officers in George Floyd's Death
Thousands converge at the Los Angeles civic center to express outrage at police brutality, and the killing of George Floyd on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. New charges were announced Wednesday against all of the fired police officers present at the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The charge against Derek Chauvin, the officer who pressed his knee into Floyd's neck for over eight minutes was elevated to second-degree murder.
