Palestinian Muslims Buy Sheep And Goats For Eid Al-Adha, Bethlehem

Sheep and goats wait to be bought at a Palestinian market before the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha, in Bethlehem, West Bank, August 30, 2017. Eid al-Adha, also called "Feast of the Sacrifice", commemorates Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael, as an act of obedience to God. However, God intervened by sending his angel Jibra'il, who offered a ram in place of the boy.
