World's largest cruise liner begins maiden voyage
The Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise liner, is seen on its maiden voyage on October 30, 2009. The cruise vessel, commissioned by Royal Caribbean International, departed Turku, Finland bound for Florida. The Oasis spans 1,200 feet (360 meters), 16-decks, and can accommodate 6,300 passengers and 2,100 crew. UPI/Royal Caribbean International
