One of China's top ports keeps busy in Nansha
Business as usual continues at one of China's top ports located in Nansha, a major city situated on the Pearl River in Southern China's Guangdong Province on October 25, 2013. China has rapidly grown into a global manufacturing power with its entry into the World Trade Organization, but the country as a whole remains relatively backward in service industries like financing, shipping, commerce, trade and culture compared with developed countries. China's major push in growing its deep-water ports and shipping is a clear sign that China's leaders see trade as key to maintaining sustained growth. UPI/Stephen Shaver
