New sign to welcome all to the neighborhood in St. Louis
Diners at the Rehab Bar and Grill enjoy their lunch as a new "Grove" neighborhood sign is lowered into place in St. Louis on October 12, 2010. The Grove neighborhood has experienced a revitalization from run down, empty buildings to a vibrant area with restaurants, bars, new housing and new businesses. The Grove sign powered by fluorescent lighting, was built in Boston and weighs 1800 pounds at a cost of $50 thousand dollars. Merchants hope the new signage will invite people to visit the new night spots. UPI/Bill Greenblatt
