Multiple people shot near Empire State Building

The body of a dead victim lies on 33rd Street outside of the Empire State Building in New York City on August 24, 2012. The gunman, Jeffrey Johnson, 53 was laid off about a year ago and went to his former workplace Friday morning and shot a co-worker in the face, killing him, before a shootout broke out between him and New York police officers near the Empire State Building.
