St. Louis Police officer charged in shooting death of fellow officer

St. Louis Police officer Nathaniel Hendren was charged on 1/25/2019 with involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in the shooting death of fellow police officer Katlyn Alix death on 1/24/2019. According to statements, Hendren met Alix at his apartment in St. Louis. Hendren was on-duty at the time and Alix was not. While at his apartment, both officers were playing with guns in a game of Russian Roulette. According to the statement, another on-duty officer, Hendren’s partner, was at the apartment at the time of the incident. The two officers transported Alix to the hospital where she later died.
