Christmas trees go on sale on Black Frieday

Black Friday is traditionally the first day of tree sales in St. Louis. 25-30 Million Christmas trees will be sold nationwide in 2018, despite the fact of a shortage because farmers cut back on planting trees from 2007 to 2009 due to the Great Recession and the impacts are being felt now because the length of time it takes for Christmas trees to grow.Photo by Bill Greenblatt/UPI
