CBP Processing of Migrants at the San Ysidro Port of Entry

Inadmissible aliens, some seeking asylum, are processed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the San Ysidro Port of Entry on November 23, 2018. In addition to preparing for the arrival of thousands of migrants traveling in the much-publicized caravan, CBP continues to process roughly 100,000 legitimate travelers per day as well as others without documents who have been waiting at the border.
