People visit the D.C. sniper victims' memorial, dedicated to the victims of the 2002 DC Sniper shootings, at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland on November 10, 2009. John Allen Muhammad, the mastermind behind the 2002 attacks that killed 10 people, is due to be executed this evening in Virginia. His accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo is currently serving a life sentence.
