Washington, D.C. traffic comes to a stop following an earthquake

Traffic is seen at a stand still on Connecticut Ave. in Washington, D.C. after the area felt the affects of a 5.9 magnitude earthquake the hit Mineral on August 23, 2011. The quake was felt as far north as Boston and as far south as Charlotte. UPI/Kevin Dietsch
