Koman race for the cure attracts nearly 70 thousand for annual walk in St. Louis
Runners begin the annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure in St. Louis on June 11, 2011. More than $2.3 million was raised with seventy-five percent of the money staying in St. Louis to fund screening, treatment, education and support programs. St. Louis has been tapped as the largest Koman Race in the United States with over 64 thousand people participating. UPI/Bill Greenblatt
