Flight reveals devastation in The Bahamas

A survey flight was conducted over the Islands of the Bahamas on Monday, September 9, 2019. The survey revealed a stripped landscape and tremendous damage done by Hurricane Dorian. The flight was sponsored by "Shipwreck Park", a 501 (c) (3) corporation which is responsible for the acceptance and distribution of relief goods, consumables and medical supplies for the island chain. To date, Shipwreck Park has distributed well over 100,000 pounds to the Bahamian population. .Photo by Joe Marino/UPI
