Tesla announces solar roof tiles for residential homes

During a press event in Los Angeles on Friday, October 28, 2016, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the Tesla and SolarCity solar roof, a complete roof that is attractive, durable and brings renewable electricity production to any home or business. The solar roof tiles are manufactured with durable, long lasting tempered-glass and come in four styles: Tuscan Glass, Slate Glass, Textured Glass, and Smooth Glass.
