Israeli Factory Produces Gas Masks For Biological and Chemical Warfare
A worker holds up a gas mask for protection against chemical and biological warfare in the Supergum Ltd. Factory in Tel Aviv, Israel, May 7, 2013. There has been increased interest in Home Front Command gas masks, which are distributed for free, since Israel launched a series of airstrikes on targets near the Syria/Lebanon border, including a research center that is thought to produce chemical weapons. The Supergum Factory produces fifty percent of gas masks for Israel's general population and provides chemical and biological warfare protection kits for the Israeli military and first responders.
