Illustrator Al Hirschfeld dies at the age of 99
NYP2003012019 - NEW YORK, Jan. 20 (UPI)--Illustrator Al Hirschfeld's 1964 caricature of Barbra Streisand who protrayed Fanny Brice is juxtaposed with a 1910 photograph of the late comedienne. Hirschfeld, reknown for his caricatures of theatre and film performers, died on Jan. 20, 2003 at the age of 99 in New York City. Hirschfeld enjoyed hiding the name of his daughter, Nina, within his famous caricatures. jg/ep/ UPI
