United Launch Alliance launches the Cygnus Cargo Carrier to the International Space Station.

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket launches at 11:11 AM from Complex 41 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida on April 18, 2017. On board is the Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft, christened as the "SS John Glenn". The vehicle is being sent to the International Space Station with over 3 1/2 tons of science experiments and supplies as a part of the NASA Commercial Resupply Services program .
