Penquins Walk In Cold Weather At St. Louis Zoo

Several of the penguins at the Saint Louis Zoo, went on a quick field trip through the crowds, in St. Louis on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Participating in the 17 degree walk were three king penguins along with two gentoo penguins. These penguins reside indoors at Penguin & Puffin Coast, which is kept at 45 degrees year-round but are given the option to participate in spontaneous winter walks that are enriching for the birds.
