Iran's new year
An Iranian family visits Ghajar in Qazvin, 83 Miles (150 Km) from Tehran, Iran on March 24, 2008. The 400 year old bath house is a popular tourist spot for Iran's new year's travelers. Norooz (the Iranian new year) is the astronomical beginning of Spring, or Vernal Equinox, this year on March 20th. Iranians spend the week prior to Norooz in preparation for the holiday.
