Seattle Mariners to use LED Technology to light SAFECO Field

Seattle Mariners' ball parks LED Technology lighting system illuminate the playing field on March 31, 2015 at the SAFECO Field in Seattle, Washington. The Mariners are the first Major League Baseball team to use the new LED technology which will reduce energy consumption by 60-70%. 570 metal halide lights were replaced by 578 GigaTera SUFA LED fixtures in January.
