KKK in Cleveland

CLE99082201 - 22 AUGUST 1999 - CLEVELAND, OHIO, USA: James "Boss" Hogg, the Grand Dragon of the KKK preaches his message of hate against "black savages, niggers and jews" during a Ku Klux Klan rally in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. About 20 KKK members turned out for the rally along with about 20 supporters . Approximately 300 anti Klan protesters also turned out to express their view of the Klan. Cleveland Police deployed 600 officers and kept all parties behind dual barricades of chain link fence. No confrontations occured as a result of the overwhelming police deployment and the small crowd turnout. jr/mw/Mike Williams UPI
