Demonstrators Protest Police Shooting in Chicago
Demonstrators protest outside of City Hall after Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel addressed the City Council about the recent troubles in the Chicago Police Department in Chicago on December 9, 2015. A series of videos recently released, showing police misconduct, including videos of officer Jason Van Dyke's shooting of 17-year-old Laquan MacDonald, another police shooting of a fleeing suspect and mistreatment of an incarcerated inmate, have sparked protests throughout the city and calls for reform. A federal judge is set to rule Wednesday on the release of another video showing the shooting of Cedrick Chatman, who was unarmed and shot to death while fleeing police.
