US FDA chief Hamburg talks at university in Beijing
U.S. Food and Drug Administration chief Margaret Hamburg speaks to professors and students at Peking University during a visit to Beijing August 10, 2010. Hamburg said that building an effective partnership with China is crucial to regulating the safety of drugs and food coming into the United States, especially to prevent problems such as contaminated heparin that was linked to the deaths of 81 people.
