50th Anniversary of JFK Assassination at Arlington National Cemetery

In a photograph of the original teletype dispatch, a UPI dispatch adds details to the unfolding events in Dallas, Texas on on November 22, 1963. UPI reporter Merriman Smith grabbed the only mobile phone in the White House press car traveling in the presidential motorcade to make reports to the UPI Dallas office that then relayed the story to the world via UPI Teletype Machines. The 50th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination will be marked on Friday, November 22, 2013. UPI
