An Israeli Security Guard Stands On The Platform Of The New Jerusalem Fast Train
An Israeli security guard stands on the train platforms, which are 80 meters, or 260 feet, below ground, in the new Yitzhak Navon train station in Jerusalem, September 25, 2018. The new line opened today to commuters after a ten year delay. The electric high speed train's first phase will take commuters from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion International Airport, where they will change to a diesel train to Tel Aviv until the electric lines are completed. Transportation Minister Israel Katz wants to extend the train to the Dung Gate in Jerusalem's Old City, and to name the stop after U.S. President Donald Trump. Photo by Debbie Hill/UPI
