ATTORNEY GENERAL SPITZER FORCES MACY'S TO STOP TARGETING MINORITY CUSTOMERS FOR DISCRIMINATORY SECURITY PRACTICES

New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer announces on 1/14/05 that his office has signed a agreement with Macy's East Inc. to ensure that race and ethnicity play no role in Macy's security efforts to ID and process suspected shoplifters.
