Cat Wins "Best In Show" 39 Times

A pedigreed Persian cat from Raleigh, N.C., has received its 39th "Best in Show" title at the 2008 International Cat Show in Atlanta on November 23, 2008. Brandon Moore, 22, said his 1-year-old black Persian, named Santos, was named the top cat from a pool of 730 during the weekend by judges from the Cat Fanciers' Association, the Charlotte (N.C.) Observer reported Tuesday. Moore and the cat's other owners said Santos has been named "Best in Show" at 39 of the 40 cat shows he has participated in, including shows in Belgium, Ukraine and the Netherlands.
