Architect Philip Johnson shown in July 2001 celebrating his 95th birthday has died at the age of 98 on January 25, 2005. Johnson was noted for his designs of the Glass House, the Seagram Building and the American Telephone & Telegraph Building nicknamed the "Chippendale Building" for its decorative top.
