Monsanto name changed to Bayer

The main entrance sign to the former Monsanto Company has finally been changed to Bayer in Creve Coeur, Missouri on August 21, 2018. Monsanto lost its name after German giant Bayer officially acquired the company in June. Bayer had been considering losing the Monsanto brand for some time. The acquired Monsanto products will keep their brand names and become part of the Bayer portfolio. In June Bayer closed its $63 billion acquisition of St. Louis County-based Monsanto Co.
