Archeologists Uncover Ancient Administrative Center From First Temple Period
An overview of a significant administrative storage center from the days of Kings Hezekiah and Menashe (8th century to middle of the 7th century BCE) uncovered by the Israel Antiquities Authority near the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. More than 120 seal impressions stamped on jars were found in the excavations, showing evidence of tax collection in the period of the Judean monarchs in the First Temple Period.
