Ceremony Marks the 75th Anniversary of the Hiroshima Atomic Bombing
People pray for the atomic bomb victims at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park marking the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan on Thursday, August 6, 2020. The ceremony this year was scaled down a precaution to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. An American B-29 Superfortress flew from Tinian in the Mariana Islands dropping the bomb called "Little Boy", killing approximately 75,000 people, some 30 percent of the population.
