Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Second Amendment Challenge
The Supreme Court Building stands against a bright blue sky on June 20, 2016 in Washington, D.C. The Supreme Court refused to hear a Second Amendment challenge to a Connecticut law banning many semiautomatic rifles today. The law, which was enacted in 2013 in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, made it a crime to sell or possess assault weapons.
