Christie's to Offer a Tyrannosaurus Rex in New York

A Tyrannosaurus rex is on display and up for auction at Christie's Auction House as part of their 20th Century Evening Sale in New York City on Thursday, October 1, 2020. On October 6th Christie's will offer one of the largest, most complete and widely studied Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever discovered. Endearingly named "STAN" after the paleontologist who first found the skeleton's partially unearthed hip bones, the T. rex is an extraordinary surviving specimen from approximately 67 million years ago.
