Civil Rights Icon and Congressman John Lewis Dies at Age 80
Congressman John Lewis of Georgia died at the age of 80 on July 17, 2020. Lewis, a civil rights leader who preached nonviolence in the 1960's, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December of 2019.
