Stocks continue to fall on Coronavirus fears at the NYSE
Almost no pedestrians or commuters are walking near the New York Stock Exchange before the opening bell on Wall Street in New York City on Monday, March 16, 2020. The S&P 500 dropped 11%, extending losses after 15-minute trading halt right after the bell. Stocks fell sharply on Monday even after the Federal Reserve embarked on a massive monetary stimulus campaign cutting interest rates close to zero. Photo by John Angelillo/UPI
