Christie Brinkley flipped the switch to light the Christmas Tree at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street on Thursday, December 1. Brinkley rang the closing bell before lighting the tree at the NYSE's 93rd annual tree lighting ceremony.

Porsche, Maserati, Nissan, Ford, Toyota and others unveiled new models of vehicles for 2017 at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, which started Wednesday, March 23, 2016. More than 1 million people are expected to tour the show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The first New York Auto Show was held in 1900 and was the first auto show ever held in North America.
