For the first time in Major League Baseball's history fans were not allowed to the game between the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox on April 29, 2015 because of the ongoing civil unrest and protests in Baltimore in the wake of Freddie Gray's death. The late 25-year-old died earlier this month from a spinal injury while in police custody.
