Windows on the second floor of Norris Hall at Virginia Tech remain open where 33 people died on April 16 in two shooting incidents on campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, on April 17, 2007. The Norris Hall victims were found in four different classrooms, and some opened and jumped from the second-story windows to escape the gunfire.
