Troy Davis Executed in Jackson, Georgia (28 images)

Georgia executed Troy Davis Wednesday for the murder of a police officer after the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday rejected Davis' appeal for a stay of execution. Davis was pronounced dead at 11:08 p.m. EDT, the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison said.
