New England Patriots Tom Brady and and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell went before a federal judge in New York on August 12, 2015 to discuss whether they've made progress toward a settlement. Brady is fighting a four-game suspension imposed by the league for his alleged role in the deflation of footballs before the AFC Championship Game, which propelled the Patriots toward their eventual Super Bowl title.
