Palestinians mark ''Nakba'' day that led to the founding of Israel (11 images)

Palestinians rally to mark the 67th anniversary of the "Nakba" on May 15, 2015 near the border with Israel, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. "Nakba" means in Arabic "catastrophe" in reference to the birth of the state of Israel 67-years-ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation.
