Peace negotiations continue in besieged Bani Walid, with transitional government leaders saying they hope the standoff would end peacefully and that people in Bani Walid, a desert city of 60,000 people about 90 miles southeast of Tripoli, would greet rebel forces as people did in Tripoli late last month, when rebel fighters captured the Libyan capital.
