Most Islamic states observe 'Quds Day' an annual event, which happens on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Jerusalem Day (Quds Day) was launched by the founder of the Islamic republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini, in the early of 1980s.
