FIFA officials indicted for bribery
Governing officials from FIFA, the international soccer governing body, were arrested in May at their hotel in Switzerland. The indictment was brought about by United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The officials were charged with accepting bribes and racketeering to favor future hosts of the organization's tournaments and providing favorable coverage for media corporations.
