Pictured in an undated file photo, Ahkiok, a 21-year-old Kodiak bear, was found dead in his den at the Indianapolis Zoo at 7am on June 11, 2008. The bear's cause of death is reported to be natural causes. Ahkiok was born at the Pittsburgh Zoo in 1987 and had been at the Indianapolis Zoo since 1988. The largest land carnivore, Kodiak males can be ten feet tall and weigh up to 1,800 pounds. Primarily solitary in the wild, Kodiak bears typically live up to 25 years. (UPI Photo/Indianapolis Zoo)
