Filmmaker Spike Lee and actress Jada Pinkett Smith have vowed to boycott this year's Academy Awards after black actors and filmmakers were snubbed in nominations. In the Oscars' 88-year history, 29 black artists have won.

Jennifer Hudson won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for "Dreamgirls" at the 79th Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., on February 25, 2007.
